Joshua Tree Search and Rescue is currently recruiting new members. We are looking for highly motivated team oriented individuals who are interested in volunteering for the Joshua Tree National Park Volunteer in Parks Program. No Search and Rescue experience is required, training is provided. Due to the amount of basic training required for new JOSAR volunteers, we bring on new members in August. The park accepts applications year round. Applications are reviewed starting in June. During the summer, there are two informational meetings. Prospective volunteers are requested to attend one of these meetings. Applications are provided at the meetings or can be downloaded from this web site. For further information about joining JOSAR, please follow the links below. All information provided is subject to change without notice from the park SAR Coordinator.
